Was on anastrole for 5 yrs and had horrible side effects, had a mammogram in June and all clear, told I can stop anastrole and was delighted and felt much better in myself. No hot flushes insomnia and no nausea. 2 weeks later my consultant rang me and asked me to take it for another 2 years, don't think I can go through all that again tbh. Any else asked to continue anastrole after 5 years?? Is there any benefit? Thanks
