Hello everyone

I just thought I would ask a question in here, as it is kind of to do with my breast.

I have lung cancer, Ive asked some questions in there and had a great response, but thought someobody many have some other answers in here

I have a tumour that has broken through under the breast,  right in the crease I have been told it will never heal, its like a crater.

The problem Im having is I can put a dressing on it, but as soon as I lower the weight of my breast back down, it starts to sting as im squashing the wound

Any ideas how I can keep my breast off that wound.

Many thanks

  • Hi Katy1 welcome to the forum. I cant imagine that anything is going to keep the weight of the breast off that wound except maybe a bra but that would be uncomfortable.

I cant help feeling that you really need the Practice Nurses or the Hospital you attend to offer some help and advice with this as they may be better placed to offer some practical help.

  • Thank you Gail, yea Ive had the specialist tissue nurse.  Just another dressing was suggested.  But as said its the weight of my chest thats squashing it
