I have been taken off olaparib due to pneumonia. What next? I have been on this for10 months and it’s kept my tnbc metastasis in lungs & brain stable. I m brca1. I have now been told my oncologist has a new plan for me. Anyone else had any experience of this or similar happening?
Hi RosG welcome to the forum. I dont know a lot about the drug that you are asking about but you also say that you have Pneumonia and anything that makes that worse will be stopped for a short period of time I imagine.
It does sound however that your Oncologist has another plan in their mind for you which is good and it maybe trying other types of drugs is the proposed way forward, I dont know, but they wont want to start anything until you are free of Pneumonia.
