Hi. I had stage 2 breast cancer two years ago and had a lumpectomy. I have just been called back following my two year mammogram, due to calcifications. Just wondering if anyone else has had this please?
No have not but get mammogram this month and always nervous. Was your cancer Estrogen positive and did you take tamoxifen or an aromatase inhibitor? I guess you will have ultrasound now and biopsy too. I pray all is ok and not cancer. Hugs to you.
Thank you for replying so quickly and for your kind wishes. I have been taking Anastrozole. I think they are going to do another mammogram and biopsy. I hope your mammogram is clear. My best wishes to you.
I also take Anastrazole. Yes they will do a diagnostic mammogram now. Calcifications are hard to see on dense breasts too and I don’t know if you have that too as about 40-50% of women do. I will be thinking of you and praying for a good report.
