I am expecting to start on Bisophosphonates soon - preventative treatment to reduce the chances of high risk breast cancer returning to the bones.
Can anyone share their experience of taking this medication please?
The oncologist has mentioned that when you take it in the morning, you need to remain in an upright position for 30 minutes without having any other food or drink. is this what other people have been told please? I know it’s a small thing, but I have always loved my cuppa in bed first thing in the morning and cancer takes away so much. I feel quite sad that it might take this away too!
