Hello
Spoke to Macmillan helpline yesterday as have had a rough couple of days and my mental health suffering. Worried about knock on effects of all this on my preexisting anxiety and depression. She advised me that I can ask team to do holistic health check in which all aspects of my wellbeing are looked into and then a plan agreed which is also copied to my GP. Hadn't heard of this before. Just wondering if anyone else on here has had one and whether it was helpful. I have a lot of concerns and feel also that I haven't had choices explained.
Thank you lovely people xxx
Hi Cristalia24
Yes, I had a holistic health check at my hospital. Everyone who was undergoing chemotherapy was invited to fill out a form and then chat to someone about how they felt, etc. This happened about 3 weeks after I started chemo.

Thank you for replying to me. Was it helpful?
I hope you are doing well now.
Big hug x
It was helpful in that it made me think about how I was feeling about everything but I'm a fairly stoic, just get on with it type of person, so I was lucky in not having any mental health problems.
I hope you find it helpful
((hugs))
