Shoulder/arm stiffness

Haven’t had mastectomy but had lymph node clearance. It takes its time. I’m 5 months post surgery and still can’t fully raise my arm. I had problems with the drain and did the exercises at a much slower rate than suggested. 

I don’t think you should do exercises that hurt. Just do as much movement as you can without causing additional pain. That’s my opinion of course, please ask your nurse too.
