Hi
hoping someone can help.
Had BC 4 years ago, lumpectomy and radio. So been on yearly mammograms. Last year they picked up calcifications in opposite breast. And having many biopsies etc the diagnosis was LCIS - which means higher risk of cancer. This whole testing took over two months and freaked me out .. was actually worse than the original diagnosis as not knowing or understanding the issues.
Due to this the mammograms were extended for another 5 years. Had this years 2 weeks ago and today received a letter ( why do they always arrive on a Saturday!) saying that the right side (the good one) has shown some distortion and further tests are required- mammo and ultrasound. So here we go again …
Has anyone had this distortion diagnosis?? I’ve seemed answers from Dr Google which is never good so hoping someone can help.
thank you in advance x
Hi ESTA
I haven't had a similar experience but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again. Hopefully someone from the forum who's had the same result as you will pop on and share their experience with you.
((hugs))
