Breast Cancer stage 2

Hi All.

Diagnosed with Breast Cancer stage 2 with breast lump and lymph node cancer. Waiting on CT and MRI results to determine treatment plan. I am on hormone therapy at the moment, Leprazole which is giving me awful heart burn and Acid reflux. Does anyone else have these side effects. Be great to hear. Many thanks. Daisy M

Hi DaisyM, sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Whilst I was on chemo I suffered with heartburn and to start with I took gaviscon. As I was using it quite a lot my oncologist prescribed lansoprazole to help. It was just one tablet on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Worked wonders. I have now stopped as I have finished chemo and am on tamoxifen which doesn’t give me any issues other than hot flushes.
