Hi
Been reading through some of the posts on here and you all seem lovely. Little bit about my journey so far
Had a lump under my armpit for a few months i thought nothing of it as didn’t hurt wasn’t getting any bigger. I told my friend about it and thank god i did. I booked doc appointment and was referred to breast clinic
Week later went to my appointment i was examined and told it was a swollen lymph nord, i had mammogram and ultrasound scan and biopsy done on lymph nord. Received phone call 10days later they said i needed to go back for further investigation. When i sat in room with consultant he told me straight away detected cancer cells in my biopsy. I have to have further mammograms x8 due to the sight of the tumour they struggled to get clear picture of it another biopsy.
when i went back into room with consultant he told me I needed operation to remove tumour and to remove the 3 lymph nords this was Monday, i had operation on friday. Just not had time to take it all in. Seems to be a whirlwind 3 weeks.
I go back Thursday this week for my results and talk about the next steps. I can’t seem to switch off from thinking about it all. Scared what the overal outcome will be. Im 42 single parent to Two teenage kids. Trying to act all normal for kids and being strong but it really is a mind game
sorry for the long post but just wanted to share my journey so far

Hi Abbshe
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. What you are feeling is perfectly understandable particularly as it all happened so quickly so no need to apologise. Breast cancer is very treatable and they keep coming up with new treatments all the time.
Wishing you the best of luck with your results.
Best wishes

Just want to send you a big hug and i'm sorry you find yourself on this horrible journey. The past few weeks sound like a whirlwind and hope you get some positive/good results Thursday. Do try and take some time for yourself to process this all, do you have someone you can talk to? This is a crazy journey, it seems long and hard and it is but you will come out the other side xx
