Speak to me. Anything. I look at chemo and it's this gigantic mountain to climb and I don't know if I can do it! I had successful removal of a Grade 3 Tumour. It hasn't spread. I was offered this as adjuvant treatment.
Chemo is not as bad as it's press, it is doable, it's an endurance test, it's the price of life, you have already climbed the biggest mountain, before you know it you will be the one replying to others on here who need your support, we merely tread where others have gone before. You can do this. Love from Ann
Adjuvant is good - they are doing their best to protect you. I had different chemo to you - my cancer is stage 3 and had started to spread locally so mine was accelerated - every two weeks - and it was doable - there’s lots of practical advice here on preparing and getting through…. I just kept thinking back to the oncologist saying that it was going to be tough but she wouldn’t ask me to do this if she didn’t think I was fit and well enough to get through it. I kept repeating that “fit and well enough” when I didn’t feel either. It feels like forever but it is soon over - and you will finish in time to enjoy the summer. All the very best to you.
Hi, I blogged through my treatment and here's what I wish I'd known before starting chemo. Best of luck
Thanks for feedback, girls. Cancer... it's such a complex relationship to examine, it's just so immense. Appreciate you taking time to respond to me.
