Anastrozole and Chemotherapy tablets next stage of treatment.

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with breast cancer.  I only had oral chemotherapy post treatment as my breast cancer was triple negative, but I noticed that you haven't had any answers yet so I thought I'd reply to you to move you up to the top of the discussion, hopefully someone will be along shortly with an answer for you.

I didn't have any problems while I was on oral chemo apart from feeling tired at times.

Hi, similar situation to you.  I thought I just had radiotherapy to go following chemotherapy and surgery, however I am now taking Anastrozole and start 14 more rounds of chemotherapy, Kadcyla, on Friday.  Have been told it is preventative treatment as I am Her2 positive.  Looking forward to 2024, hope your treatment is going well.

Me! I had IV chemo, single mastectomy then radiotherapy and like you thought that was the end of treatment. It was only when I saw the surgeon after that it had been advised at the MDT that I have oral chemo. I'm also on Letrozole. x
