Hi, just wondered if anyone has experienced 'cording' and do you have any suggestions how to help it?
Thanks x
I have a bit of cording too. My breast nurse showed me how to massage it. I have also been doing stretching exercises. I found the one where you slide your hands up the wall gave a nice but painful stretch and has helped.
Thanks for that. I'll try it. Good luck with yours x
There are many good YouTube videos that talk about cording and they are by reputable physical therapists.

HI Lollyp i also suffered with cording following my second op which seemed to last for some time. So much so i could not straighten my arm as the ladies here say walking your hands as high as you can uo a wall/door will help a few times a day along with massage, i started physio and was showed some other exercises and it did sort itself out..what i was told it may just ping like it has snapped (which is very normal) and it will be ok then. Luckily mine sorted itself...good luck im sure it will pass...xx
I have cording. I was told about an Australian physio who specialises in breast cancer called Jen McKenzie https://www.thebreastcancerphysio.com/ she has loads of videos on YouTube. My surgeon said it can take a couple of months to clear up so go easy on yourself. I notice a small improvement every day. It will be 4 weeks tomorrow I had my surgery
