Hi. I am due to start Abemaciclib in 2 weeks time. I've finished dose dense chemotherapy and just having radiotherapy for stage 2 breast cancer. My Chemo finished 8 weeks ago and my eyebrows and eyelashes are falling out as well as not having any hair growth to my head. I've been told a side effect of Abemaciclib is hair loss. Wondering if anyone else has had hair loss as side effect as worrying I may never get my hair to grow back once I start the Abemaciclib. Thank you sorry I know it sounds vain but it would make me feel better if it grew back. #abemaciclib ️
Hi, yeah I’m nearly a year in now and brows are barely there. Spoke to nurse specialist and she thought it more likely the letrazole but I’m not so sure. It is disappointing as you say because without makeup I still have a bit of a chemo face. Let’s hope this means the drugs are doing something useful. I just started using the Refy brow tint and pencil - very good products xx
