Hello Redpanda, is this a side effect from your chemo? When my nose got dry and flaky I put vaseline in/on it and it helped, plus I used soft, moisturised tissues when I needed to blow my nose. The dryness and soreness didn't last long but it's worth contacting your nurse or chemo team if you've had this problem for a while to see what they suggest.
Fingers crossed that your nose stays ok Jo! I only had this problem for a short while as I developed a runny nose after first starting AC chemo but had no nose problems when I started Docetaxel x
A bit of vaseline around the holes at the bottom of your nose helps. I think it is because we lose the hair inside our noses so on a windy or hot day the nose dries out faster. Try not to blow your nose either as our nasal membranes get a bit fragile on chemo.
