Im a newbie too, just had first round of chemo/immuno

We are mostly lovely caring women who have just got through lumpectomy/mastectomy here. Not started any radiotherapy or chemo. But I'm sure some have so ask away anything you feel you want to say. We are a a friendly bunch justrying to support each other through this.

Hi ladies,

So today been a ok day.long one in a while.

Had a mate over for the first since op.nice to chat about something different for a change.

Finally had the courage to take my bandage off,I'm so pleased with the results,so so worried about looking.surgeon did a great job.

Hubby's birthday tomorrow,so feeling alot happier and looking forward to celebrating with him as he's been so great these past few weeks.dont sure what we are doing as can't do to much as still need to rest,but I'm in a better mind set.

Hopefully results nxt week go well.but for now I'm feeling good about things.

It's lovely to get a visitor! And good to hear you're pleased with your wounds. I was worried that my boob was so swollen still. I called the seroma clinic number and they were so nice. They fitted me in at 2.30 and doctor had a look at it. She said it's just how it should be and not to worry. It could be 4-6 weeks before swelling goes down.

Hi.  I was diagnosed end of Jan.   Her2+ oe+ grade 3.        Good luck with your op.   I had my lumpectomy in Feb.    Next ... if I accept it ... is chemo.

It's all go!     All best wishes.

True I got an infection BUT aside from that the result from lumpectomy is very good ... cant really see where he was ... because he went in round the nipple so no scar to speak of.

Hi, how are you feeling after your treatment? Hopefully you're not unwell with it. Take it easy and recover.

I still unfortunately have my drain in this will be 11 days now but hopeful for next week.

Hi m.

I'm doing ok.managed to go out for hubby's b.day,took alot out of me,but  doing ok.

Have appointment 24th hoping for good news x
