Hi, I'm a young 77 years old lady living in Ealing and going through chemo for breast cancer which has gone to lungs and liver. I'm not good with zoom and online and would love to actually meet folks in my area in the same boat. I had bowel cancer before and found the face to face getogethers invaluable and supportive.
Only just saw this. I think Maggie's centres run face to face support groups, but I don't see one in Ealing hospital. The nearest centre to Ealing that I am able to find is in Hammersmith, but depending on where in Ealing you are, you may find it easier to travel to St Bartholomew's hospital near Barbican (Central Line from Ealing Broadway to St Paul's, then it's a very short walk.) The centre in that hospital is brilliant. Perhaps it's best to phone them first to find out more. Their phone number is 020 3904 3448.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
