Hi, I have ovarian cancer and had my operation to remove as much as possible….. part of that included removal of my right arm lymph nodes - the senital ones. I’ve removed my rings and watch and am not allowing blood pressure to be done on that arm etc.
however I have had chemo and my hair is coming back so hairy!!!! I’d do like to epilate my fingers n arm but can’t seem to see whether this is okay….. I read I shouldn’t wax??
many advice v gratefully received.
Hello. I was told to use a ladyshave ie battery powered one as opposed to a razor as my armpit was and still is slightly numb and even though I use a mirror, I had to be careful not to nick myself as it could cause problems. I have now used razor but I'm 3 months from surgery. I think just be careful so as to not to injure yourself. I think cream and wax may be a no for the moment. Perhaps a breast nurse may know more. Hope this helps.
