I was diagnosed with stage 1, grade 1, oestrogen positive breast cancer a few months ago. Have had the lump removed and have started treatment- tamoxifen three weeks ago and radiotherapy a week ago. I have been feeling fine up until a couple of days ago. I just feel very tired and just don’t feel like doing anything, lightheaded and I am putting some weight on which I think is due to water retention and not doing as much exercise as I did before diagnosis.
Has anyone suffered with any of these symptoms?
Hi Kazco welcome to the forum. So glad that at least the surgery is past for you. I wonder if the mix of Tamoxifen and Radiotherapy within such a short space of time has caused the tiredness. Radiotherapy really takes the feet from you and I know I felt really tired about day 10 and it was a tiredness that felt so debilitating that you could not do anything but sit down and rest up.
That said the water retention maybe needs someone to have a look at that it could be the hot weather but best get that checked out with the GP.
Sending best wishes for now. xxx
