Do I keep chasing for results or do I wait?

Hi everyone, I need some advise.  I had my biopsy over 5 weeks ago when they told me it was cancer, official diagnosis on 16th June and I am still waiting for HER+ result to be able to start treatment.  They have said a hold up in Birmingham lab and lots of people are waiting and just keep apologising to me.

They have MDT meeting twice a week so I am on tenterhooks waiting for the call again today but feeling like not going to happen.  Each week I call up myself to ask and am told sorry, didn't get results back.

Do I just keep waiting or is there anything I should be doing.  I know I want the right treatment so should wait but each day that passes I am worried it will be growing. Am I just impatient?

Hi Debimay thank you for checking in with me.  I have my surgery booked in for Thursday, had my COVID test yesterday so isolating now until I go in.  They have said I should be out the same day but to take an overnight bag just in case.

Unfortunately yes first time 2009 then a reoccurance 2012..but I'm still here. What is psy? I don't have any treatment plan and my next appointment is not until the 11th. Everything seems to be taking a long time. I don't even know what type of cancer it is. Your symptoms sound similar to mine. Good luck with the next bit.
