Hi everyone
On 21st April i had 3 core biopsies taken and on the 12th May I was given results, which showed a small area of dcis. Also on the 21st they notice an area of concern, which no lump can be felt and I had a vacuum biopsy for this on the 18th May, was given a results date of 2.6.21 which now has been put back to 9.6.21. Can anyone else please advise of there waiting times please. This will be 8 weeks before any date for a treatment plan. I was thinking if the other area was more of a concern than my area of dcis this would of been looked at first.
Would be grateful for advise
Best wishes

Hi Shaz52
8 weeks seems to be a long time to be waiting for results. I only had to wait for a week after my biopsies to get my results. I know that before you are give your diagnosis there is a Multidisciplinary Team meeting once a week to discuss the results of tests, scans etc. I would ring the clinic to see why your appointment is taking so long.
Hope this helps. Wishing you the best of luck.

Hi Daisy53 I wanted 3 weeks for my core biopsy results when I was given my diagnosis of dcis, then from first clinic appointment which was 21.4.21 waited 4 weeks for my vacuum biopsy, on the 18.5 21now got to wait 3 weeks for that result. Do you think if they were greatly concerned, my vacuum biopsy would of been deemed urgent, its going to be about 8 weeks then will only be getting all my results then have to wait for my treatment plan.
Best wishes
