I am posting this, because it was one of my worries: I was kindly given one by my very practical and helpful Breast Cancer Nurse, and will wear it immediately after my operation. She told me that ladies who have implants may not realise that an ordinary bra may rub on the wound, because they won't feel it, so a soft one is essential. I hadn't realised this, my head being full of all other kinds of concerns about new surgery. See also the part about support from Macmillan by way of grants available. Just click below:
Hi Venicelagoon welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing this useful information. It is timely as well as there have a been a few questions recently on the Breast Cancer threads about bras following surgery. Any information that makes life after surgery better has got to be positive so thank you again for sharing.
