Hi all,
Im day 3 after my first round of EC chemo and having a bit of stomach pain. Not too awful but crampy and achy - is this the steroid tabs? I’ve just taken my last dexamethosone tablets so hoping the discomfort might ease when those are done?
Anyone else had this? Today has been my toughest day so far. Had a walk this morning but just feeling yuck and sore and tired. I know it’s likely to get worse before it gets better..... any words of advice? I am eating a bit and keeping really well hydrated.

Hi Charlie
Last year was a bit challenging, didn’t worry about Covid at all. Sounds like you have been through it too.
Pleased that you have been able to find alternative treatments. am a great believer in holistic treatments to the extent that I am a trained therapist. My oncologist has said I must not have any massages for 12 months. However I am having Bowen treatment which helps.
Have been told I will be on Niraparib for as long as it works!!! Have a CT scan in June
Sending big hugs

I know what you mean about Covid - it seems to be the least of my worries! I love holistic therapies - I'm a reflexologist and am constantly treating myself... I've never had Bowen but would like to try it. Fingers crossed that the CT scan results are good - let us know how you get on. Take care and keep smiling.xxxxxxx
Hi Charlie
Small world isn’t it, I’m trained in reflexology too, and aromatherapy, Indian head massage and am also a reiki master. I think all of these have helped to keep me calm and focussed, although I do get down days which I expect is normal. If you can do try Bowen.
Lovely to hear from you. Stay strong and positive
sending hugs xxxxx
Oh a like minded person!!! I have also found using the tricks of my trade very helpful. Hope you're having a non down day..... Big hugs. Charlie xx
I’m with you on that one. Particularly good day today as I have been to London today and had a lovely few hours with my son who works there. A tonic in itself.
Hope you’re doing ok
Bigs hugs too Carole xxx
How lovely! It's amazing how the simple things can give so much pleasure.
