I've just started my treatment with first jab on thursday and chemo on friday.  It would be lovely to link up with others on the same journey

  • Lets raise a glass to that Danielle.  Having lost a sister to bladder cancer just under 2 years ago I understand the devastation that this horrible disease can cause.

So sorry to hear your news Danielle. I lost my Dad to cancer of the gallbladder 29 years ago and he passed 4 days after his diagnosis so was also quick with no time to come to terms with things. I am sure you must all be devastated. Sending hugs Kx

  • Today I got to ring the bell.   I feel a bit of a fraud as I know treatment continues, but another bit done and dusted.   Tried tp attach a photo, but it won't let me!

Well done, a milestone for you. I did the same, rang the bell then had to start chemo again  3 months later but hopefully this treatment will stop it coming back. Keep going and keep positive

Still waiting for radiotherapy cos wound under arm hasn't healed yet. It's taking forever and o'm having it packed and dressed every 2 days currently. Got kadcyla tuesday and start with bone density meds and hormones so expecting hot sweats etc although I've been through menopause relatively unscathed so hoping it won't be too bad. Not looking forward to sore boob but it's only a week so fingers crossed it's not too bad
