I’ve been using witch hazel gel on my head, I only have some stubble left but it’s a bit sore still. The witch hazel feels amazing when it goes on though.

It definitely cools. I have gel and also just a spray that is really lovely when it goes on. It’s a whole new feeling!

  • I’ve been using Kate Mciver cleansing balm on my face (she was a breast cancer patient) and also my scalp, very soothing and has stopped soreness and flaky dryness as well, just apply to damp scalp and wash off with facecloth. Smells amazing too. Distilled witch hazel spritzed on your scalp can also be very soothing and also calms itching

  • Hi Dawn,

My daughter bought me Cetaphil Body cream, I’ve been using it on my hands and now my head. It seems to be very good. She also bought me the facial day cream, which is spf 50 but still light and the night cream. I do have sensitive skin but they are working well for me.

  • Completed very first chemo. EC. Was ever so nervous but relatively straight forward to be fair. Feeling a bit delicate since. Tingling in toes which I didn't think could happen until medication in the future cycles? Used the cold cap which initially felt horrible... Advised it got better after 10 minutes... It did, so huge relief. After that not a problem. Everyone seemed kind and helpful.

Well done lblodwin, take good care now and I hope the next few days are as easy as they can be with minimal SE’s
