First chemo, EC

Hi Roses21, I had my first treatment on 15th Jan, so today is day 9 for me, all that you describe also happened to me, the daily injections did not cause me any pain or loss of sleep, they say day 9\10 you start to feel more yourself again, that happened for me today, i suppose everyone is different, keep going, you have started your treatment journey and will get there, keep a note of how you feel every day, you will be ready for your resting days and good days for your next treatments x

Thank you for that. I'm sorry you have experienced what I am now. But i am glad you are starting to feel a bit better again, it gives me hope. I am keeping a note of any symptoms, to help be better prepare for next time

I had my 3rd and final EC on Wednesday and each one has followed a similar pattern. As Crawler says, day 9/10 seems to be when you start to feel like yourself. From day 11 of the first 2 cycles I have felt perfectly normal, although not as fit as I was. Good to keep a note of symptoms - your nurses will ask before your next treatment, but more importantly I have found that I needed to remind myself of how I did feel at the beginning of each cycle. 
You are very early in your 1st cycle and what you are experiencing sounds normal. Hoping that you feel much better in the next few days and good luck.
