Hi all
It may just be my hospital but whilst having my zolodex yesterday I found out that as I was in 'contact' on a regular basis with chemo patients that I could be referred there & then for a covid vaccination, it wouldn't be taking anyone else's jab and NHS number was needed for records....worth checking if you're a regular visitor that comes in contact with the extremely vulnerable (or are extremely vulnerable chemo wise) whether your hospital also offers this as had I not been chatting with a Dr in a corridor I probably wouldn't have known.
I'm not receiving chemo just 4 weekly zolodex and 6 monthly bisphosphonate- neither of which lower immunity.
Just so happens that they ran out of vaccine when my treatments were finished...doh!
