I was diagnosed with stage 2 Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer and I had breast conserving surgery on the 17th December 2020. I'm now waiting for the results to come back from pathology to make sure they have removed all the cancer. The operation went well and I seem to be healing well. I have good movement in my arm etc. In the last few days I have noticed that the breast is hard and extremely sore and sensitive has anyone else suffered with this and can you give me any advice?
Hi Clayton24
I had my surgery in November and it took several weeks for that hard, sore and sensitive after effects to resolve. I still have days when the soreness and sensitivity can be an issue but not often now.
Hang on in there and don't be afraid to take pain relief when you need to.
Good luck with your results.

Thank you for getting back to me Debs36. Its given me peace of mind that this is a normal reaction after surgery. Hope all is well with you after surgery.
