Invasive Lobular breast cancer with pain and now worrying!

Hi Everyone,

I've been diagnosed with the above as I said in an earlier thread and am waiting for my appointment which will explain my treatment plan which includes a mastectomy.

As if that's not bad enough within the last couple of days my breast has become really sore with a stinging and burning sensation. Also my shoulder blades are aching . This has worried me even more now and I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same symptoms.

I would be really grateful to hear from anyone who has. X

Hi, i had ductal not lobular. Did you have a biopsy? It can be a but sore afterwards but if it looks red or really sore could it be infected? I had really achy shoulders and upper arms while I was waiting for results of my scans etc, I think it was just so much tension and they felt OK after I got my results! Sorry can't be more help.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I did have a biopsy but I don't think it's from that. It's not red either . I think you're right about the tension. Maybe it's that that's affecting everything. There's just so much to worry about isn't there.
