New letter about staying home in lockdown 2.0

I doubt if they are sending them out this time around? Daughter had hers very quickly last time to tell her to shield, but she’d already locked down a couple of weeks before the official date as she knew she would be needing to, and hasn’t mixed or been out and about since then, her partner has worked from home since then too. It’s been really tough, she’s an extrovert and a freelance musician and has really missed live gigs, but has diversified and done her conservatoire teaching, recording and voiceover work from her home studio (a modified wooden building in her garden - not really a shed as it was built specifically as a studio) 

she has been away now and then, in her campervan to deserted areas.

Thanks moomy I did get a text on 21/3 (and one each day that week!) a well as a letter dated 21/3 which arrived in April. I'm probably a soft target for the category,  but I'm on exemestane ( a steroidal anti-oestrogen medication) which lowers white blood count and has worsened my asthma,  as well as being 60 (feel 48!)

Hi, sorry I am from the lung group, so hope you don’t mind me answering here. I had an email this morning from the Department of health and social care, advising about the new lockdown and being vulnerable. It said to show that email to your employer as to regards to furlough etc. Check your emails, and the junk section just in case.

Oh my goodness moomy ! Thay must be so hard for her.  Let's hope that next year things I'm improve so she can get out  and about again.  X

It’s been tough and will continue to be so, but she has virtually no immune system and injects herself with immunoglobulin weekly. I guess she will only get back to some sort of normality when the country has widespread vaccinations. My profile tells you why!

Not yet received any communication but I don't know if you've looked at the updated  Gov.uk site it  says we will receive a letter . 

It states that the list remains the same so if we were shielded it applies to us . Quite emphatic that not to go to work .

Presumedly Text/ letter to arrive later .

It says you are in this group if you previously received letter Londonmumof2 I always use the gov site . 

Also news conference apparently on BBC at teatime .
