New to group

Hi there, welcome to the group, I'm one of the champions on this forum and I'm glad you've found us.  There's a lovely supportive bunch of people on here, to answer questions or just be there for a bit of extra support.

I'm also on letrozole, tolerating it ok as long as I keep active and walking.  Some brands are better than others, have you noticed that at all.  And I have to say, 5 months seems a very long time for results, it might be worth asking your GP about them. Maybe also ask your GP about the new lump.

I have been told it’s a 6-9 month wait for dexa scan results although my team is chasing them. Like all these things I think it depends where you live. 
Can you email your consultant / oncologist secretary to tell them you have a new lump? Else you could see your GP as Irishgirl16 suggests.

Thank you so much.  I have managed to get GP appointment next week and will ask about Scan.  Plus BCN colleague rang to say they will be in touch they are wonderful and my GP has been very helpful.  Yes totally agree about walking does help but at the moment bone pain from letrozole is horrible.  I have a list of different brands and prefered brand but told i cant have that one its not available. But know Amorax worst for me but pharmacy ignore this i refuse that brand so have to return as nothing else in stock.  Sorry i am usually very positive just feel frustrated at moment.
