Hi, got my first oncology appointment on the 24th January, I’ll be having chemotherapy first and then lumpectomy. Was just wondering how long people have had to wait to get chemo started from getting their protocol?
Only found a lump on 26th December so things have moved fast to get appointments, tests and results so far, just wondered if it would carry on
Hi Kellymb,
I had my oncology appointment one week and my chemotherapy started the following week.
Wishing you well on your recovery journey xx
Thank you so much for replying.
Good to know there’s a high chance to keep momentum going and keep things moving
I had my oncology appt today and he said it would be 2-3 weeks till I start they are giving me an exact date Wednesday he said. I’ve had mastectomy 19th December had to wait a while for that! I was diagnosed October 3rd. Sounds like your hosp are working fast which is amazing! The waiting is the worst bit so far for me. Sending you a hug xx
