Hair loss

Hi, I was diagnose with Stage IV metastatic Her2 positive breast cancer last November.  I had 8 doxi chemo treatments and am now on Phesgo every three weeks.  I am 47 and was first diagnose three years ago.  My hair has been incredibly slow to grow and my eyebrows show no real signs of coming back.  I use Latisse on my eyelashes and that has helped immensely.  About 6 weeks ago I took the plunge and got nano brows which is like a semi permanent tattoo for eyelashes.The are incredibly real looking.  I have to go back for a touch up and they are not perfect but they make me feel more confident.  I also take Viviscal (vitamins) at night and I do think it helps with hair growth.  I don't think this issue is talked about enough.  Of course I am happy that is seems my treatment s working for now but it is really hard to deal with how I look now. Insurance pays for the Latisse but the brows were on me and they were about $700.  I would recommend looking into that.  You are not alone.  It feels shallow to talk about my hair when the treatment is saving my life but it is an issue. Maybe you could get eyebrow tattoos? Though I notice all the female newscasters on TV seem to have all theirs plucked out and re-drawn higher up. You may be more in fashion than you realise! I hope your hair grows back soon. I have heard there is a treatment called "Regaine", though i don't know if it works for chemo hair loss. Maybe ask a pharmacist?
