Hi all I’m Gill a 71 year old who just been diagnosed with HER2 receptor positive BC

i had wide local excision and sentinel node biopsy last Wednesday and getting full results on 12/6/24.

I’m having a rollercoaster of emotions right now and wondered how others coped during this early waiting phase

Hi Gill, I too had the same - luckily my nodes were clear so I completely understand your emotions. Please remain strong and positive whatever the outcome.

Hi I also will have that op tomorrow and will get my results 20/6/24. Trying to take it step by step but it is a worry. My head all over the place and imagination running away with itself. I now have aches and pains that I didn't have before and know it's probably being extra sensitive and aware of body more that I am looking for things that may not be there. Wishing you all the best with your results xx
