Hi. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer on Friday and it has spread to lymph nodes. Have scans booked to see if it’s spread anywhere else. I’m so scared as only 41 and have a 2 year old and also pregnant.
Hi RKD
Welcome to the forum and I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer is very treatable and your medical team will do everything in their power to make sure you come out the other side of this.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer with lymph node involvement last year and after two surgeries I am now cancer free.
Wishing you the best of luck with your scans and with whatever treatment plan your team comes up with.
Best wishes

Thank you for your reassurance. I have my scans tomorrow so hopefully I’ll know in the next couple of weeks a treatment plan. It’s just happened so quickly as it initially started with breast swelling and then a rash and within a month of seeing the GP and the tests it’s already spread very quickly.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
