Hi All, I have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 2 on Thursday. I am age 50. I am hoping to chat with other members. Just saying Hi x

  • Hi Fizzler

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with Breast cancer.  You will find this a very supportive group so if you have any questions about what's ahead for you don't hesitate to ask them.  You can also use this forum to rant about any aspect of your treatment or anything else that is bothering you.

If you have trouble sleeping there's a thread called "Awake". People come and go on that thread and new people are always welcome to join in the discussions on that thread. Just hit reply to any of the posts.  Here's the link for that thread: AWAKE......... - Macmillan Online Community.

Just a word of warning.  Don't google your breast cancer as the information on google is at least five years out of date. Rely on sites such as this one and breast cancer now for your information

Wishing you the best of luck with whatever treatment your medical team will put you on.

    Best wishes

  • Hi, sorry u have been diagnosed. I am 45 and was diagnosed on the 22nd June with Grade 3 invasive ductual breast cancer oestrogen positive and her2 positive, has been a lot to take in with various appointments, i have been staged as 2b, and other scans has shown hasn't spread anywhere else. I started my 1st chemo on the 11th of this month. 5 more cycles left then surgery and radiotherapy.

Good luck with your journey and treatment x
