Hi All
I am new to the group, but really grateful to have found you and really looking forward to support and supporting x
Hi there,
Tomorrow (bloods willing) I will have my third and final EC dose of chemo before moving in 3 weeks to weekly paclitaxel with carboplatin every 2 weeks (I think). I was just wondering how you managed on those drugs? Ive not been too bad with the EC (although my liver enzyme levels we out after 2nd dose and my bloods are showing low white blood cell count at the moment). I know everyone experiences their treatment differently but it’s helpful to see the range. I will have surgery after the chemo is complete - good news is that the scan last week showed a significant shrinkage.
Well done and bless you by the way for getting through it twice!!!.

I kept a diary right from day one of my treatment of paclitaxel and carboplatin. Reading back over that time recently what i noticed the most was bad headaches, bloated painful tummy and just feeling blerrrr at lot of the time. It was hard going i dont kind admitting BUT compared with some online friends i made on here i didnt do too badly. If i can answer any questions, offer advice or just talk, message me.
jan x
