Hi, awaiting MRI but pain in my upper stomach has it spread?

Sorry Lou Lou C, I cannot help you there as I did not have a MRI scan at all - not even sure if that was normal procedure 10 years ago.  I had a lumpectomy, then a mastectomy as they found my lump was multi focal (an extra 4 very small lumps near the main one).  Glad your consultant has managed to reassure you.

I had stage 1 grade 2 and I can tell you I had exactly the same and have been going out of my mind with worry. Mine seemed to radiate into my back - around the back of where I had the lump removed - but also top of my tummy. The fact that I felt it mostly when I ate and had some reflux happening (and burping everytime I ate or drank the smallest sip of anything) tells me it was totally anxiety and stress from surgery. I get a dodgy tummy when anxiety hits and it can go on for weeks and weeks, but it always clears up. It waits until I'm on the verge of a breakdown before it bloody does though! I was even asking myself if the pain was there before my diagnosis and convinced myself it was etc. NOPE that was pain associated with covid and losing my mum all at the same time as finding a lump and waiting for biopsy results. ahhh we are our own worst enemies but perfectly normal to be worried. I feel for you and glad you are feeling relieved by your consultant. My mysterious pain has just upped and left 4 days ago and I feel 100% back to normal now!
