Hi everyone stage 2 lobular cancer and operated last Wednesday the 1st .some lymph nodes removed too but must wait two weeks for the result
I know this is usual practice with cosmetic surgeons but i never had the chance to tell her (the surgeon) because shes a very poor listener and dismisses my questions such as
how many lymph nodes did you remove " I cant remember "
How long might the surgery take " as long as it takes. " I haven't felt heard and would have preferred a different surgeon, unfortunately the others had longer lists which would have necessitated a longer wait . In retrospect I wish I had waited
Old school surgeon with a don't question me attitude . At least I can have my treatment in a hospital nearer to me .
Hi Lemonblossom
I was also diagnosed with lobular which has spread to one lymph node.I had a mastectomy and waiting on Onco Type Dx results to see if chemo would be beneficial.
You can ask for a copy of your pathology report which will explain how many lymph nodes were removed once its back.
