  • Hi Voilets sorry to hear you have BC but you are in the right place for comfort and support, the waiting is the hardest, once you know your treatment plan you will start to take some control, post your plan here and women on the same plan will answer you, one day at a time, you are not alone, we know how you feel, love from ANn

  • Thank you I will post it tomorrow.

  • I have just seen your post title re chemo, chemo is not as bad as it's press, it is doable, rather an endurance test but always with an end in sight, I had HER2+++ cancer so you migtht well be on the same treatament I had, I will watch your posts and help if I can.  Love from Ann

  • Hi

I have the same diagnosis as you. Have you already had chemo?

I wonder what is your treatment plan and I found very little on TCHP! Leaves me to worry even more!!

  • Hi Claud272 & Voilets sorry I don't know what TCHP is but I had chemo last year, EC and Docetaxel followed by lumpectomy , radiotherapy and targeted therapy, HER2+ cancers respond really well to chemo, hope that helps, Love from Ann

    Hi

I have similar I think, I have just started chemo - EC / HP for me I think, 3 x 3 week cycles of EC then 3 x 3 of HP

in summary from what I understand it is 3 weeks of constipation and then 3 weeks of pooping! But all can be controlled by tablets to help out,

I have just done chemo #2 and it’s not as bad as I built up in my head, and I was scared of the unknown.

The nurses are brilliant, put you at ease, I have been very tired and had what felt like seasickness, but after chats with the nurse hopefully that will be better this time. As for eating, doing plenty of that - had a craving for cornflakes! Bizarre! Then sleeping like a baby.

not sure if that helps but if you have any specific questions feel free to fire away x x

  • Thank you, appreciate your message.

It's so peculiar witn the on/off tap with both. And cornflakes craving too, I need to really get in my head that I mustn't over do it and need to make sure I listen to my body.

I am so glad you're having a good experience. That gives me confidence too. Have you have hair loss? How do you cope with it?

I wondered if you take any supplements during this time? Do you find a drop in energy on certain days?
