Hello
I’m nearly 11 weeks post op and just wanted to know how long to expect the hard tight tummy to last for - it’s like Braxton hicks - some times I have a soft tummy ( not often ) then it really tightens up - I feel so full and bloated after eating - bed is uncomfortable and turning in bed is now like doing a three point turn !!!
It was like this after operation and they thought it was fluid - had a special dressing on it to drain it and it seemed to soften up but last few days it’s tight hard and I feel my lungs are being pressed and I can be breathless walking - can anyone tell me if this normal as I don’t know what normal is !!! I’ve emailed my nurse but she is on holiday for two weeks 
. I have been exercising and doing Pilates as suggested by physio since I am active / I just think I’m eating too much !!!!
You're probably right Welshtotty but contact them anyway as you have nothing to loose, there is only upside
