Dying hair prior to chemo

Hi. Wonder if you can offer advice please. I am having chemo less than 2 weeks time and really want to dye my hair before then. I have booked it and then just thought I'd mention it to nurse and she said should only do 2 weeks before and I should try to get earlier appointment if I can, but I can't get bring it forward. Has anyone used hair dye before. Know can't use it during treatment but didn't know would be an issue before. Thanjs

Are you cold capping? Chemo does turn the remaining hair very brittle, though it recovers a bit after it's ffinished.

I'm just thinking the same thing about hair colour. Results next week, it will be treatment of some sort. I am very grey white underneath. It's hard to stop everything. Is it vanity or just trying to hold onto some sort of control over my life? Feel in limbo. Xx

Also, if you're not cold capping then it's likely to start falling out in the week before your second chemo of it's EC first:/

I do like star gazing, did a meditation with Kyle Gray today on mother Mary. I think we all need heeps of love and TLC even if it's from above.
