New to group

I'm so glad you have stepped out of the shadows - welcome to the group none of us want to join - we join and make friends with some of the most amazing people - it might be in a virtual world, but these beautiful people are real and many, me for one find them better than most of the people in the real world.

I hope your operation went well and you are tolerating the tamoxifen..... keep in mind its is your friend and the side effects could be your body's way of letting you know the tablets are working.

I guess you will have seen the AWAKE thread - this is a brilliant place to drop into any time night or day to have a catch up, moan or even a laugh..... once in - you become a Fruit Loop and have access to the crazy Lucky Pants virtual guinea pig that can come with you to your appointments or treatments .... just so you know we are all there supporting you.

Thanks for your welcoming message.

Yes, the operation went as well as it could.  I've just had the results and my lymph node biospy is thankfully clear, and they got clear margins so...no more surgery! So happy about that. Tamoxifen seems fine so far, although I was really  interested in some of the discussions on the site talking about the effects of different brands. 

Radiotherapy is in the next few weeks.

I haven't seen the AWAKE thread. I will have a look out for it.
