Phesgo, docetaxel & carboplatin

Hi  I’m on docetaxel and phesgo, Im only on my first cycle, had it just over a week ago and have been surprised how ok I feel, sorry I can’t give you any advice, but I just wondered how you were with the first cycle?? Trying to prepare myself as I know it’s going to get worse!

ive heard people say water with lemon juice is good, or how about fizzy water? I hope you feel better soon x

Hi, I wasn’t too bad with the first cycle, everything felt manageable and think I kind of just assumed that it would continue. This hit me on day 4 after treatment, on day 7 now and hoping for it to be over.  Haven’t tried fizzy water so will give that a go. Have tried lemon till I can no longer look at one, and every flavour cordial going but everything tastes awful. Good luck with your treatment x
