aches and pains .(.letrozole 16 months )...especially in my feet ..help
reconstruction after radiotherapy....what are the choices.....
I'm on exemestane, so similar, and I find activity really helps. I feel stiff and sore getting up after a long time and especially first thing in the morning. I find wiggling fingers and toes helps before standing up. I also find massaging legs, especially calves, helps with the foot pain.
I can have sore feet and feel stiff and go out for a run - within a few strides, I am completely fine. If you can't run, then make sure you are walking every day if you are able to.
I am think the brands of exemestane may make a small difference. I am on my third prescription and back to the first brand and my hip pain overnight is back.
I took Letrozole for 18months and had bone and joint pain worse in my hands and feet past 3 months when the brand changed..oncologist changing me to Exemestane hoping less pain but not hopeful reading comments on here....someone suggested Glucosamine?? May help..mornings worse, once I get moving its easier...some days had to take pain killers to get going....people do say different brands can make side effects worse as the drug is the same but they use different fillers and colouring.
