I have been given a leaflet on this therapy drug and note it says IF you need dental treatment talk to your cancer doctor?
Before I do so has anyone had to have dental treatment whilst on this drug and come across any problems or issues?

Not on that but zometa (which you might have with it) can cause issues. In general it's a good idea to go for a checkup before any new meds in case anything needs to be looked at.
