Almost 2 yrs since I was here! I had invasive lobular bc stage 3. Since treatment finished I have been on quite a journey both physically and mentally. Still adapting to life post treatment. Newly separated (marriage broke down during treatment!) and trying to find my way back to life as an emerging 50yr old post cancer butterfly!
Anyone else out there finding themselves in a new life after the chaos of treatment?
Hi Everhopefull13 welcome to the forum. I think we are all forever changed after Breast Cancer and life takes on a different perspective.
I wonder if you have heard of the article by Dr Peter Harvey which is called "After the Treatment finishes, what next". I think it describes perfectly what is happening to and for you right now and may be worth a read. xx
Hi Gail. Thank you so much for your reply, I could find it to start with, I think my old grey matter is struggling to navigate this site.
I haven’t heard of that and have written that down.
I felt like I was really getting back on track and then the Exemestane has kicked in and knocked me for six again!
Have a lovely day. Carmel.
I think this is the article that Gail was recommending

Thank you both so much . It is a good article and really does resonate with me. Also just connected to the flat friends group on fb as this is an area I really feel I need support with. Have a lovely Friday x
