I had my routine mammogram on 5th July and was recalled for 2nd stage screening on 20th July. After tomography (8pics) and ultrasound I have been told I have a complex cyst mass. I was then told that a few core biopsy specimens were needed . The fist one was completed and unfortunately a blood vessel was hit . They had to stop . I now have to wait until 2nd August to see if I need more biopsies or they have s as diagnosis. I’m in pieces - is this normal ?
