Hi Pepsiepixie,….yes, I felt similar, like all the built up tension in my head had suddenly been released….fingers crossed it continues!
Hope you manage a better sleep tonight, as Pnk mentioned plenty of pillows for support is helpful…..xx
Hi I think it's normal for us individually we have all been carrying around with us a lot of pressure , my head felt a lot lighter like a sigh of relief had been lifted after the operation xx
Good mrning Pnk, and MrsPolly managed to sleep for 6 hours.. that is progress for me.. very tender and a sore throat too this morning.. So plenty of fluids today, rest etc.. Hope you guys are feeling well too.. Best wishes.. Ruth x
Hi Pepsiepixie, I’m doing ok thank you, I had a single mastectomy, and nodes on Wednesday, stayed one night at hospital, came home yesterday afternoon, have 2 drains to lug about with me, hope they get taken out next week. No sleep while at hospital, had a bit more last night, had to sleep in reclining chair, couldn’t sleep in bed propped up, good job the recliner is comfy..I thought about you while I was there hoping you were ok … sore throat, husky voice, and cough, the things we have to put up with, but worth it to get rid of the dam thing xx
Out of darkness cometh light
Glad your feeling a bit more yourself.. I've bought myself a v pillow.. I've got marks over my arm from the blood pressure cuff, must of been on too tight.... Xx
Hi Crawler, good to hear you’re back home after op, I had same on Monday…….hoping to get drain removed tomorrow, everything feeling just a bit tight today…..all part of the healing process I’m sure……sleep wherever you find comfortable that’s for sure…….wishing us all a good recovery xx
