I was diagnosed last Thursday with breast cancer, I have 2 options to think about, 1 full removal of lymph nodes and the lump, 2 chem and then removal of lump and 3 nodes.
Hi, so sorry about your diagnosis. I was not given any choices, but I am almost finished chemo with surgery late summer. My lump was large (56mm) and now with chemo it is 10mm so a positive response and a smaller lump to remove. But the thing I have learnt on here is that we are all very different and the treatment is very personal and bespoke. I hope your breast care team are able to give you advice and answer questions. Best wishes
They have left it to me as its only 1cm big and 3 nodes are affected but also HER2 positive.
